Kruitbosch chose to implement the Akeneo Product Information Management solution. Kruitbosch aims to efficiently collect, manage, and consistently distribute the vast amount of its own product data, as well as data from suppliers and assembly partners. Since Kruitbosch operates in both B2B and B2C sectors, this involves numerous sales and marketing channels. The goal is to enhance the customer journey for its clients (both consumers and dealers) by optimizing the quality, consistency, completeness, and findability of product data. This necessitates streamlining and digitizing processes related to product information, an area where Akeneo PIM is expected to make a significant impact.

Kruitbosch and XSARUS engaged in extensive discussions about the desired functionalities for the PIM system, exploring possibilities in data modeling, product creation, data asset management, quality assurance, workflows, and security. Kruitbosch concluded that everything needed is achievable with Akeneo PIM.

Efficiency, quality & user-friendliness

Within the Akeneo PIM system, product data for over 50,000 products will be centrally collected — a significant improvement over the current situation where data is scattered across various systems and documents. This single source of truth allows content to be managed per channel and per country, not only promoting growth in existing markets but also facilitating expansion into other countries. The implementation of the PIM system will eliminate many manual tasks, increasing data quality and completeness. Additionally, efforts can be directed toward improving the product experience, a key focus for Kruitbosch.
