Sissy-Boy is a unique fashion and lifestyle brand with more than 40 shops in the Benelux. Sissy-Boy is a brand with Dutch roots and a global outlook. A brand with a story. And this story is about more than just clothing – it encompasses food, drink, care, styling, and more. When Sissy-Boy was declared bankrupt in 2019, it was the Termeer Group (known for brands like Sacha and Manfield) that brought Sissy-Boy into the Termeer family.

The challenge: Getting Sissy-Boy back online as quickly as possible

After the restart, the so-called Homeland collection (furniture) could still be sold via the existing Sissy-Boy webshop because that collection could be delivered via dropshipping. The goal was, of course, to be back online with the full Sissy-Boy collection as soon as possible. Sissy-Boy turned to XSARUS with the request to create a new inspiring webshop – with the total assortment and Sissy-Boy feel. Objective: to generate sales and provide inspiration.

We are very satisfied with the result. It's very nice that Sacha, Manfield, and Sissy-Boy are now all housed in the TableTop platform. This works extremely efficiently, not only for the management and maintenance of the webshop but also for customer service and the delivery of packages in the warehouse. Despite the fact that a large part of the project could not be collaborated on at XSARUS's office due to the Corona crisis, the cooperation continued very well, and the project is more than successful!

One platform for three formulas

In recent years, the Termeer Group, together with XSARUS, has worked hard and developed a stable and complete IT landscape based on TableTop. So it was a logical choice to add Sissy-Boy to this and thus make use of existing integrations and functionalities. To tackle this as efficiently as possible while maintaining the brand's characteristics, a new storefront was developed on top of the existing TableTop e-commerce platform of Sacha and Manfield. Sissy-Boy was added as a new entity in all back-end systems and processes. The existing inriver PIM software was also linked to the TableTop platform. Some data model changes were made in inriver for this, without compromising the entire environment, which also includes Sacha and Manfield.

Sissy-Boy thus benefits from the investments made in the sister companies; both at the conversion level and in terms of efficiency solutions that have been set up. Moreover, it is an added advantage for the Termeer Group's e-commerce team that no new systems need to be learned.

Exploiting economies of scale

Thanks to the connection to the Sacha and Manfield platform, the Termeer Group is now optimally exploiting the economies of scale of the existing IT landscape. Content management, product information management (inriver), customer data management, order management and warehouse management; Sissy-Boy is fully and very comprehensively connected to all existing processes in a short period of time. The team now uses one central Product Information (PIM) solution (inriver), one commerce platform for Order Management and CMS (TableTop), and one warehouse management system.

The result is a new inspiring webshop that radiates the Sissy-Boy feeling. Thanks to the good cooperation with the Sissy-Boy team, the target group can once again buy the entire Sissy-Boy collection online. This was immediately noticed, as there was an enormous increase in traffic and conversion rate visible right after going live. Consumers have certainly not forgotten Sissy-Boy!
