Norah keeps up with fashion trends using Shopware

Norah believes in the power of fashion. Not only do you look good with the right clothing, but you also feel a lot more confident if you love your outfit. To empower the Dutch woman, Norah makes each collection in sizes 36 to 48. Not plus size, but just sizes for the Dutch woman. With more than 90 stores throughout the Netherlands – and two in Belgium – Norah is now an integral part of shopping streets. Besides the many offline sales points, the webshop is also an important sales channel.
The previous e-commerce platform no longer fully met the requirements from a technical and aesthetic point of view. Therefore, Norah wanted a new platform and collaborated with XSARUS for this purpose. Norah aimed for an optimal connection between online and offline, where inspiration and experience are paramount. Customers should be inspired through every channel and completely relieved of their concerns. And that has succeeded.
On 30 January 2023, Norah launched her brand-new webshop on www.norah.eu, where you can not only shop for women's clothing online but also find blogs with fashion news, styling tips, and the latest trends. A modern look and a fresh and feminine design are characteristic of the new webshop.
Choice for Shopware
"Norah is known for its friendly atmosphere, accessibility and personal fashion advice. With more than 90 Norah stores in the Netherlands, many customers already find their way to the young fashion brand. But more than 40 percent of them shop both online and offline, which requires a seamless connection between the webshop and stores," says Dennis Wanders, E-commerce Specialist at Norah. "In 2022, we decided to renew the webshop. It was important that it became an omnichannel webshop, with an easy-to-manage CMS. A platform based on Shopware was preferred due to the extensive possibilities. That's how we ended up with XSARUS."

Eliminating risks
Norah held conversations with XSARUS about the new shop. Lieven Pouwelse, E-commerce Consultant at XSARUS: "We had intense discussions about the requirements for the new platform. Norah had a clear preference for Shopware. For us, Shopware was still relatively new on the menu, but we agreed that this platform offers the most possibilities for Norah. After a thorough exploration, in which we discussed and described almost every pixel to eliminate risks as much as possible in advance, Norah gave us the green light: go ahead."
Collaboration in sprints
The collaboration went well, says Lieven. "We worked in sprints during the development phase. Every three weeks, we delivered a certain set of functionalities and discussed them with Norah. Once the e-commerce platform was ready, we opted for a so-called soft launch. An opportunity to thoroughly test the platform end-to-end before we truly went live." Dennis: "That was a good choice. Not that many bugs were found, but it did give us the chance to perfect the shop for the hard launch."
Shop the look full of inspiration
Norah offers her customers extra inspiration through the shop the look functionality. This form of inspirational content played a part in the choice for Shopware. Through product tagging on images, the right products come together at ‘shop the look’. A boost for cross-selling.

Strong connection between online and offline
According to Dennis, the results of the new platform are very good. “It is difficult to make comparisons with the past coronavirus years. Moreover, the webshop has only been operational for a short time. We have focused on developments that connect offline and online even better. Unity that is essential for Norah's recognition."
TableTop Order Management
Also TableTop Order Management plays a major role in this. Thanks to the order management system developed by XSARUS, Norah has control over the order management process. Norah works more efficiently and the online and offline connection has been further optimised.

Real-time insight into stock
Norah now has an integrated and reliable view of stock at all stock locations such as the central warehouse and physical stores. Where previously the stock was only updated a few times a day, it is now visible in real-time. Norah's customers also have insight into the stock per physical store on the webshop.
TableTop Order Management ensures that all orders come together in one central location where they are validated. All phases of the order and fulfilment process are visible. If a problem arises somewhere in the process, Norah's staff can quickly resolve it.
Click & Collect
Thanks to Click & Collect, webshop visitors can easily pick up their order in the store and save on shipping costs. Store employees have hand scanners running an app; this technology is integrated with each other. This way, employees can see which packages are expected and collected. With the help of built-in checks, the susceptibility to errors is minimal. Click & Collect provides an extra contact moment with the customer in the store. A great up or cross-sell opportunity that the store employee can exploit.
Meeting delivery promise
Norah can better manage delivery times, allowing customers to rely on a reliable delivery promise. The smart technology takes into account driving routes, cutoff times and offers alternatives. It also considers opening hours and public holidays. The delivery almost always meets expectations. Good for customer satisfaction. TableTop is integrated with Norah's email dispatch provider to keep customers informed of their order status.

TritonX
Norah’s CDP/loyalty programme tritonX is fully integrated into the 'My Account' environment, ensuring customers can seamlessly navigate between the webshop and physical store. Customers can find all account data here, and it provides insight into loyalty points, discount vouchers, and more. A great way to strengthen customer loyalty, wrapped in a fitting Norah style.
Successful co-creation
Norah's knowledge of her target audience and online behaviour, XSARUS' expertise in e-commerce, and the creativity of FACTICX perfectly came together during the design process. The UI/UX experts from FACTICX were immersed in Norah's world, enhancing the new e-commerce platform with designs that embody the brand experience.

Showpiece
Lieven is also pleased. “As an implementation partner, I am delighted with the ability to apply customisations, such as the stock indicator on the detail page. On some platforms, it's a challenge, but with Shopware, it became possible. The Norah webshop is a beautiful, feature-rich environment that truly inspires. Yes, you could say it's one of our showpieces.”
Omnichannel ambitions
Customers of Norah have a seamless experience between online and offline shopping thanks to TableTop Order Management. For Norah, it's a significant efficiency improvement. An added benefit is that the order management system can be further expanded with other TableTop solutions. In short: TableTop grows with Norah's omnichannel ambitions.
