Justrite

For more than a century, Justrite Safety Group has been helping to protect the 'working world'. Their mission: to identify workplace vulnerabilities and guide customers in creating a safety ecosystem – so teams can work with confidence.

In recent years, Justrite Safety Group has expanded significantly through the acquisition of other valuable companies. This has resulted in an unparalleled safety portfolio, environmental protection expertise, and a global network of brands. Brands belonging to the Justrite Safety Group include: Accuform, BCI, Checkers, Eagle, Hughes, Justrite, Notrax, Sall, and US Chemical Storage.

Products from Justrite Safety Group are sold through qualified distributors.

From custom to standard

Various brands of Justrite Safety Group and XSARUS have collaborated for years on different digital projects. One of the main projects is the EU shop/CRM portal that XSARUS custom developed. With an eye on the future, Justrite Safety Group decided to switch to a more standard platform and therefore selected Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) as a replacement product for large parts of the portal. A decision that aims to further expand the (international) online activities.

As an expert in both the processes of Justrite Safety Group and Adobe Commerce, XSARUS started with a thorough analysis. The aim was not to recreate what had previously been developed in Adobe Commerce but to look for more standards. This was in part to improve the connection to the American branch of Justrite Safety Group.

We have been working with XSARUS for more than ten years, developed the first distributor portal together, and they have supported us in integrating our systems and increasing efficiency. By working with XSARUS as an implementation partner, we can rely on a wealth of knowledge, including of our product portfolio and how it can best be modelled. This way, we can optimally utilise and expand the platform with plug-ins or custom solutions to meet the needs of our customers and internal processes.

Adobe Commerce for B2B

XSARUS implemented Adobe Commerce with B2B functionality. Through the integration platform XSARUS Connect, a link between Adobe Commerce and the inriver Product Information Management system, which has been in use at Justrite Safety Group for years, has been realised. Product information is automatically loaded into Adobe Commerce. A great advantage, given the enormous diversity of Justrite Safety Group's product range. In addition, several handy features in Adobe Commerce have been realised, so that Justrite Safety Group's B2B customers can order on the platform with peace of mind.

Automatic calculations

Because the product information is well organised, handy features can be used within the new B2B portal. For example, a customer can make calculations based on length and width measurements after which Adobe Commerce automatically calculates how much of a particular product is needed. The total price is immediately provided, along with any additional order suggestions.

Delivery times for custom-made products

For products that need to be custom-made, the current lead time is used alongside stock status to automatically calculate the delivery period to be considered. This way, a customer always knows what to expect.

Partial deliveries

If part of an order is not immediately available, the customer can choose whether the delivery can be split or whether to wait for a complete delivery. If partial delivery is chosen, delivery times and shipping costs are immediately visible.

Customer balance

When a customer orders on account, the invoice amount is automatically settled on the customer balance. Each company account has its own order limit. Thanks to the link between Adobe Commerce and Justrite's ERP, a customer can immediately see in the company account how much credit is still available. If the limit is reached, it is no longer possible to order on account, but other payment options remain available.

Insight into orders

In the ‘My account’ environment, the customer gets an insight into which orders have been placed on the company account. Which orders are still open, have already been delivered, and which invoices are still outstanding, are clear at a glance. This concerns all orders, so both online and telephone orders are shown in this overview, also thanks to the link with the ERP.

Customer-specific prices

Justrite now also has the possibility within Adobe Commerce to generate customer-specific prices, with even a distinction being made at the product level. For example, a standard discount of 3% can apply to a customer account, while an extra discount can be given on product X or Y.

Insight into stock

Custom-made articles logically do not have stock because they are based on the wishes of the customer. To still provide insight into stock status, these kinds of ‘derived products’ are always based on the main article from which the product originates. For clarification: a mat that needs to be made-to-measure is cut from a roll. That roll has a certain stock. When a customer enters the dimensions of the mat, the platform automatically calculates whether there is enough stock to meet the customer's dimensions. The remaining stock is also immediately visible to the customer.

Product detail page with a focus on B2B

A B2B buyer often needs very specific product information. Due to the product complexity in Justrite's range, that need for information is even greater. By creating different product relationships in Adobe Commerce and inriver , the product detail pages are very comprehensive; Multiple order options based on dimensions and colour, filter options, technical specifications, test reports, and also ordering related articles. Everything can be found on the product detail page.

Optimised check-out

The standard check-out of Adobe Commerce has been specifically optimised for Justrite by XSARUS. This was necessary to be able to find the aforementioned functionalities in the check-out. For example, taking into account splitting the orders (partial delivery) and the option to choose click & collect, provided there is sufficient stock in the chosen location. A PO number can be entered, and the payment options have been expanded.

B2B quote requests from Adobe Commerce

With the realisation of the Cart2Quote extension, Justrite's customers can add products to their shopping cart and then request a quote instead of checking out directly. All these quote requests can be managed from the Adobe Commerce platform. A big advantage for B2B organizations like Justrite, where price negotiations and customer-specific quotes are common. With the realisation of Cart2Quote, Justrite can easily negotiate prices and generate personalised quotes.

The new B2B platform is a stable and solid foundation for further growth for Justrite. The system is reliable and can be flexibly adapted, such as with varying sizes of standard or custom-made products. Thanks to the seamless integration with our ERP and PIM systems, our team can efficiently manage a large quantity of products. Moreover, the platform is easily scalable and expandable to other currencies, languages, and product groups to facilitate further growth.

Result

The new B2B portal is more organised, better aligns with the look and feel that Justrite Safety Group wishes to project, and is more user-friendly. Thanks to the handy features, customers can be better served. Unlike the old situation, every visitor to buyjustrite.eu can now view all products before logging in. Product prices and additional product information such as test results, specification sheets, and additional photography are available after logging in.

In addition to the revamped B2B portal buyjustrite.eu, the other brand stores have also been placed in Adobe Commerce. Brands belonging to the Justrite Safety Group now have their own website within the existing e-commerce platform, with the flexibility to fully customise the websites to their own liking. Thus, brands within the group have also applied their own look and feel.
